About sessions

Due to current social distancing, all sessions would need to take place either online via Skype, Zoom or FaceTime, or phone if you are unable to do that. Once it is deemed appropriate, sessions could change to face to face if it is preferable.

Ordinarily, face to face sessions take place in a private, comfortable and informal setting to ensure you feel at ease talking. I work in both Crouch End and East Finchley, North London, but most of my practice is in Crouch End. Both are in residential properties which reduces the stress some people feel in a formal office or shared waiting room. Each session lasts 50-60 minutes and is usually weekly but can also be fortnightly if suitable. EMDR sessions last between 60-90 minutes and will be charged pro-rata depending on the length of the session.

After your initial email enquiry, if you’d like to take the next step, I’d suggest us speaking briefly on the phone before setting up a more formal first session. The first session is an opportunity to ask any questions and to talk about what’s bringing you to therapy. We will also talk through any hopes or worries about therapy and more about how I may be able to help. After this we would decide together if I am the right person for you and if you’d like to continue

Session times

My working days are Tuesday,  Wednesday and Friday daytime or early evenings

Fees

The session fee is £90

I offer a reduced fee of £80 for Counselling Psychologists/therapists currently in training requiring therapy or supervision.

Terms and conditions

Circumstances change and I will always try and accommodate for that when I can, however if you have to cancel a session with less than 24 hours notice you will need to pay as normal. Otherwise please give me as much advanced notice as possible and we can try and re-arrange for another time. You will never have to pay for sessions that I cannot attend or need to cancel.

I review my fees annually. Any increase is minimal and discussed with you beforehand.
