Thank you for visiting. Whether this is your first experience of therapy or something you have tried before, finding someone you can relate to is a really important step-though it can be hard to know where to begin.
I am a BPS & HCPC registered Counselling Psychologist working both privately and within an NHS Perinatal Maternal Mental Health Service. Before that, I spent ten years in an NHS Complex Trauma, Mood, Anxiety and Personality disorder service. I offer therapy to adults, older children and adolescents.
Building the trust needed to share some of your most difficult thoughts, feelings and experiences can take time. But with the right person, real and lasting change is possible.
Life is extremely complicated and our early experiences often sets us up in ways that don’t always serve us well later on. Therapy has played a huge part in who I am and how I work, so I know how it feels to sit in a chair and look honestly at your life. I also know the relief and hope that come when things begin to change. For many people, therapy becomes one of the most valuable investments they ever make in themselves.
